Once again, the staff and participants of Sojourners came together to create Vinton County’s greatest annual day of service, Martin Luther King Day 2007.
Over 45 Sojourners staff, program participants, foster care youth and AmeriCorps members joined forces on MLK Day community service projects. We were joined by over 70 volunteers from the Southeast Ohio region who opted to spend their “day off” working with us. Add to these committed folks 60 excited Dream Camp day campers and it is obvious why MLK Day 2007 was a day to remember!
